Indexed DB is a way for you to persistently store data inside a user's browser.
Because it lets you create web applications with rich query abilities regardless of network availability, your applications can work both online and offline.
Browser vendors may have different implementations of the standard Indexed DB API until the specification has solidified.
But once consensus is reached on the standard, the vendors implement it without the prefix tags.
I'm fairly certain there should be a way to access this table without any deadlocks at all.
For the reference documentation on the Indexed DB API, see the Indexed DB article and its subpages.
This article documents the types of objects used by Indexed DB, as well as the methods of the asynchronous API (synchronous API removed from spec).
It is also possible to define which attributes can be set via the create method.
This can be especially very handy if you create database entries based on a form which can be filled by a user.
